Ages 12 and up participate in most activities collectively; however, ages 18 and up form a separate group called “Pass the Torch.” We have realized there is strength in getting the young adults involved in coordinating events hosting the younger teens. The friendships that bond between the age groups not only provide examples to the younger but also require the young adults to step up and become responsible for carrying on the torch to the next generation.

Youth leader Jesse Broughton was raised in The Apostolic Church of Lafayette and understands the struggles of finding your place in this world but not being of it. Jesse has taken on the vision of Pastor Schwing and together their desire is to raise youth who will seek a personal relationship with God. Providing a safe environment to study, pray, worship, and fellowship together so that they may not only obtain the ultimate goal of Heaven but also help lead others during these perilous times we live in. Titus 2:12-14

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
